The Red Cross Book fair/sale!!!

 Today we (Mum,Suzannah (In Which I read Vintage Novels), Jed, Grace & I.)all went to the Red Cross Book fair!!!!!!!!!! It's a sale every year. 
At it I got these books:

  • Chronicles of Avonlea by Lucy Maud Montgomery 
  • Anne of  Avonlea by Lucy Maud Montgomery 
  • Anne of the Island by Lucy Maud Montgomery
  • Eight Cousins, or the Aunt Hill by Louisa May Alcott
  • The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis 
  • The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis 
  • The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
  • The Parent Trap Based on Walt Disney's Rollicking movie
  • A School of Her Own by Arleta Richardson 
  • Books 1,2,3,5 & 6 of the Meg series by Holly Beth Walker.            

Fun, eh? so there'll be HEAPS of book reviews!!!!!

  2. I've Now read the Sliver Chair!!!
    It took me about 12-14 (at the most)hours all up it's wonderful!!!!!
    I love it how King Caspian came into our world and helped Jill
    -Pole- and Scrubb fight!!!!!
    Suzannah, did you say that C.S. Lewis wrote the Narnia series to help us like OUR World? Well, if he did, it backfired on me!!!!!!!!
    Did it back fire on any body else?

  3. Ooh, I must read The Silver Chair again, it's been a few years since I last finished it. Have you dipped into any more of the Narnia series?

    I'm delighted to see that you picked up so many of the "Anne" books too - have you read them before? They're some of my favourites, and I've read them all several times over...

    1. The Anne of Green Gables series (If that is what you are talking about) is soo cool! I'd like to read the rest, since I've only gotten upt to Rilla of Ingleside.
