    2. Wouldn't that be fun!? I'd love to be there, and see you dancing with the dress in person. I'm sure Charmagne will take pictures though!

You'll never guess where I was a couple of days ago... :) Patting your cat in Palmy! I went with Maree to feed it. You'll be happy to know he (or she)'s well fed, and very smoochy. :)

    3. Yes It's going to be SOOOOO fun. I'd love you and the Sandbrook's to be there as well.
Wow! What are you doing up in Palmy? Is he getting fat?He has been alone for a long time, with just Maree coming in in the morning and Bernie coming in at night. Are you still at the Sandbrooks? If you are, please say a big THANKS to Maree. Tell her to pat Shorty III for me.

      Love,
      ~Laura

    4. I was up there visiting the Sandbrooks! I came back on Sunday. Last time I saw him he wasn't fat, but his coat was nice and shiny and he looked well. The chickens appear to be thriving too! I know he'll get plenty more patting from Maree - he's hard to resist!

I hope you're having a wonderful time in Tassie!

You have done a great job with that dress! I can't even remember when I made my first 'period correct' dress. :)

  8. Hello!!
Your dress is so beautiful! The red fabric really suits you as well.
I am so looking forward to the dance, it's always lots of fun! Thank goodness it's only a few nights away, I've started having dreams about it. : )

    1. Good Dreams or bad dreams, Sarah? I've not quite started having dreams but DAYdreams, sort of. Thankyou. What dress are you wearing?

      See you

    2. *Ahem* Bad dreams. Like the dance has suddenly started three days early and I'm not there. : )
I'm actually wearing an old formal dress that Mum and I have altered to fit me, not a regency gown. It's the same dress I showed Charmagne at church a few weeks ago. I think it's turned out quite well, so I can't wait to wear it!

    3. Charmagne said "Excellent!"

      I can't wait!

Can you poke Abi for me?

See you in 8 hours, I hope, unless you get really sick which I hope really doesn't happen!

    4. I think I'm on the count down now. For some reason I'm really more excited than I have been for all the other dances. Probably because I can poke you and Abi, Jemimah.

    5. Can you just imagine... everyone's dancing really nicely, (and just gotten the hang of a tricky dance!) and then once of us screams when we're poked =D Only 6 hours to go!!! Today is certainly the slowest day in creation!!!!

    6. Yeah! It's been.
Shame I couldn't dance with Abi. Those annoying stairs!

    7. I know, and I really wish that Charmagne could've done the Virginia Reel at the end like she normally does :( it would've been so much fun! Maybe it's because we did a couple of new dances and she didn't have time to fit it in. Anyway, I hope you had fun with Abi yesterday. One of my sisters (Liesl, she's 10) just got her ears pierced this morning and they look so pretty! While we were there I got some new hoop earrings at the same time, and they're really nice!
      Love,
      Jessica

P.S. It was so much fun playing with the camera, wasn't it?!

    8. Or you, Jessica!
The camera is great! I'm so jealous of Josh & Mainie! Abi had to leave early because the little Davis were tired, is that right, Abi?

    9. Yeah, I really want my own camera! Even just a little digital one because I really love taking photos!!!!! By the way, thanks for not putting the (very embarrassing) picture of me up! Abi just sent me your email address, I'll send you an email soon.

    10. By the way, love the dress! Was that silky stuff a pest to sew? It never works for me EVER even if I sew it by hand. But it looks absolutely gorgeous if it's sewn properly!

    11. What 'silky stuff'?

    12. The kind of fabric you used to sew your dress, isn't it silk or satin or something?

    13. To be honest, I don't know!

    14. Well, if you stroke it, it should feel smooth and silky. It certainly looks like it. Anyway, Abi sent me your email address and I'll send you an email soon!

I would thank you if you would not use swear words.
